I wrote this poem three years ago. It felt as though God spoke the words out of my mouth so I could write this poem.

God has made us 90% Perfect

God has given us strength and wisdom
to help ourselves and others.
God has given us family for comfort and support.
He has provided us with friends
to keep us company when we feel empty.
God has given us emotions, laughter, and compassion
to express ourselves.
God has given us liberty to achieve endless dreams.
However, sometimes we may not make rational choices,
We ruin our lives in pursuit of becoming like others.
We never internalize
And reflect on what we desire.
Later on we strive to correct the wrong,
Yet it is really difficult.
Why not use all the qualities God has given us to carve the right path?
God has made us 90% perfect...
Now merely 10% has been left up to us.
